I moved and closed my acct. because in rural area only 1 light company. I have been waiting on my refund since 10/5/2023. After verifying my new mailing address numerous times. Refund mailed to wrong address stated today in a call and i submitted a ticket for the supervisor to call you back 24 to 48hrs. It's 2.35pm central on 11/15/2023. Start the clock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst electric company ever!!!!! My bill went from reasonable to down right pathetic. I called several times to get answers of why the bill is so extremely high and kept receiving insulting remarks and blaming the consumer.

I been struggling with high electric bill for 6 months, our elected representatives are targeting every day Texans as to we can’t get help to keep our lights you can pay late which is fine 2 weeks later another bill is coming the Cirro supervisor didn’t like me telling the truth , if she paid as promised she would except someone to work with her as well, I simply wanted just time to see what is taking long for the money to process so I could pay, they refusing to even consider bc of their rules even though I paid the high amount, you can pay they still punishing us, my grand daughter, daughter and self we will be in the dark it’s 28 degrees at my location, told me even though I paid late at 2023 Christmas the white female supervisor got pissed at me, refusing to wait and see when my funds will clear on the 12/11/2023, it’s 20 degrees outside folks I have a 2 year old grand at home which we can not afford child care, we can’t get any assistance so we have to rely on self. On 12/12/2023 today will cut my electricity off when in fact I paid my bill in full on the November 29, 2023, so don’t go to them. My electric bill the entire summer were 600, I only paid electricity the entire last of 2023, my granddaughter is 2 we will not have electricity this company is cruel and no morals please don’t fall prey to them. They refusing to give me some days until I see what’s the hold up

I started service with this company on August 8th 2023 I didn't get a bill for September so I called in October and they said my bill was 659.40 then November bill was 196.09 then December bill 174.62 so the total after added fees was 1060.11 so I added payments of 99.50 + 210.00+134.97+ 196.09 total payments is 640.56 so if you take 1060.11 - 640.56 = 419.55 so I call to see what I owe at this time which should have been the 419.55 but they told me 744.33 so there was 324.78 added to my account that no one could tell me where it came from. After talking like 6 to 8 different people the last one agreed that there was 324.78 unexplained amount and she sent it up be investigated and said it would be removed from my account with in the next 2 weeks.So we will see if it really happens. PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILLS AND KEEP UP WITH BILLS AND PAYMENTS on your account the reason I have not went to a different company is they placed a switch lock on my account just to make me have to stay with them.

Hot garbage. Horrible customer service, failed to cancel numerous times, then stuck me with a massive cancellation fee even though from what I can tell I was out of contract. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone at any time.

I have been with Cirro Energy for 4 months and it’s been an absolute nightmare. I went with this company bc I was recommended by a good friend, but I truly regret my decision. Back in December I had made a call due to a generation fee that I was charged with. They had a allegedly removed that fee, but prior to paying my bill due Jan 2nd, the fee was still showing. So I called Cirro and spoke to someone named Ashley, she had stated that the fee would be removed, etc, and for me to just pay a certain amount without the fee because it would be taken care of. Long story short, the fee was not taken care of and I was charged ANOTHER $30 fee again.I called and that agent I spoke to did not even understand anything I was saying and said I had to pay an additional $27 fee due to that $39 I received. I’m like wait what?! This is ridiculous, so I then got transf to the supervisor dept and she was kind enough to remove that fee. I then asked her, I should NOT be getting charged any more fees correct? She said no, no worries. WRONG, I was indeed charged an additional $10 fee. I called again and after going back and forth and speaking with a supervisor for 40+mins, they said I would be liable to pay that fee and my full bill. RIDICULOUS AND SO INFURIATING. And to top it off, the supervisor Andrea said that there was no complaint dept NOR a ph#. This is ridiculous, so sad that you all keep losing customers over this. I will definitely be choosing another company, and I wish I would have done better research before choosing Cirro. Terrible experience.
Extremely difficult to talk to anyone about billing, for some reason they claim I've used over 4000 kwh last month and my bill is $650. This summer when it was 110 put side and my ac ran non stop it was 1/2 as much. Definitely switching!!
What a joke of a company!! Super highly priced. They have a joke of a website. Not user friendly and don't get me started with their customer service. It is no wonder they charge a whopping $295 disconnect fee, because everyone wants to leave! I picked this one because in my area as slim pickings. I just picked at random and what a joke! I should of done more homework.

My current provider (Just Energy) was going up on my prices since my 3 year contract was about to expire. I was told by a friend that Cirro was a good option to go with so I checked on them. I was a bit concerned about all the negative reviews but thought I'd see what they would offer pricewise. Their prices were outrageous! I couldn't believe it. Needless to say, I stayed with my current provider and negotiated a reasonable contract for 5 years.

I have had service for about 4 years or more. I am in a contract and have been happy with the service. However I got my bill this month. You are trying to tell me I used 3 times of kw. I understand it was cold but I went to last years kw and it was not 3 times of kw. I live by myself and gone all day there is no way I used 3 times the amount. I called customer since my bill was over 200 dollars. In 4 years I have never paid over 200 even in the summer. I called customer service they said there wasn't anything they could do. I would have to call Oncor to dispute the bill. I will be switching when my contracts end I always set my air where it doesn't come on why I am gone with in reason. Very very disappointed will be switching.

Once again they proved do not keep their word. Was trying to start an account and they told they will email new occupant statement and followed up two times sill not received. Called the next company and i got it immediately after i finish the call with them.
I have had Cirro for over 10 years, but due to being hospitalized I miss 1 payment. I get home from the hospital to no power and they won't turn it back on. They said I would have to sign up again and pay a new deposit. I will not be recommending Cirro to people anymore.

Almost 10 years with them and these last 2 have been horrible. They are sneaky, lie about helping make your bill better then through the overage that they did not tell you about. But that comes eight after you just renewed another 1 year contract with them and now your stuck paying a huge bill every month. As a long time customer head my warning go somewhere else as will I when I am out of this contract. Cirro do better. I already talked to the representative she said there's nothing she can do. She said they should have explained better, but I already signed the contract. So disappointing. As a nurse I value transparency and honesty. Something your company does not know.

Been a customer since 2015. They cater to new customers only. If you sign a contract with them, and if they failed to properly account for future energy costs. Your contract allows them to raise your rate in the middle of your contract to offset their costs and mis judgment. Its a one sided deal. Go read it for yourself. When confronted, they agreed this was the case. I finally stopped being lazy and called around. Glad I did. I recommend y'all do the same. Only takes 5 min.

Have been a loyal customer of Cirro Energy since 2008. They are one of the better companies for dependable, consistant, reliable, electric service for a residential electric plan. Here is how I rate them: Reliability-A+ Consistant-A+ Dependable to keep your service on, even doing heavy storms in Texas-A Keeping your plan contract in line with your usage-B (due to the company continued price changing, this one is still being monitored, by me) Customer Service-A+ Their customer service are really on top of their game. CS gets back to you by email, phone, or whatever means you sign up for. They never leave you predicting, if, you will get an answer to your questions. Great Customer Service. However, they are limited to what can actual be done to lower your bill. Overall, their rates are similar to your top three companies, and the plans are, also. I keep them because they are trying to improve the service each year, and for that I comment them. Alongside, getting your service back on as quickly as possible during storm weather in Texas. Only do businesses with them if you have what to be going back and forward giving the run around called them 28 January for service for a rental property I had to get a electrician to come out which he did everything I then called them and they said I had to send over a picture of my social, driver license front and back (never known a company to want pictures of the back of each )did so and still no service called back they said said it was for my deposit which I paid the first day n January .Here it is march and still no service
I signed up with Cirro Energy based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law. He's been with them for several years and had just signed up with them again. I've been with TXU and Reliant for quite a while and I thought maybe a change was needed. Now we'll see how this partnership progresses.
No matter how many kilowatt hours I use, it's always around $300. We are two people living in a 3 bed 2 bath house. We keep our home cool in the winter and warm in the summer to try to keep our cost down. I complained in January because my kilowatt hours was extremely high and was told it was because I used the stove to cook with on Christmas day. I called this month and my bill was high because I'm on average billing. No matter what what they always have an excuse and it's not their fault.
5 year customer here. They raised our rates to 18 cents KWh, which should be criminal. We tried to dispute our 700 electic bill for 3 people living in the house, which 2 were out on vacation the month that bill was due. The customer service rep said maybe we should wear a sweater when it gets cold around the house. Then, only after we tried to leave they tried to offer us a lower rate. Rep was rude and hung up on us before we could take the survey to rate them. Good thing we have a recorded call. I hope Cirro sees this. For anyone looking for a cheap electric company, we went to 4change Energy. They offered us 11.3 cents KWh. It's one of the lowest in Texas. Don't let these jerks rip you off. I hope Cirro energy goes out of business, scamming everyone out here.

PUC Rating:

For example, a provider with 10 formal complaints out of 10,000 customers would have a 1-star rating whereas a provider with 10 complaints and 1,000,000 customers would have a 5-star rating.
